Avoid losing contact when you or they are censored. Keep multiply connected.
Others, myself, lose contact when some social media decide to shutdown an account or make it invisible. You need to multiply connect.
Subscriptions are free.
Discussion will follow, but first my connections.
I will update this soon.

My website for history topics with zero Gay content. However, if my other accounts were nuked, I would post something here. You will have to book mark it.

Capriciously your acount can be deleted. Or you can be suspended for 30 days.
This artist had built up 36,000 followers on his account and then it disappeared.
His current account has a little under 6,000 followers. He lost 30,000 follows.
Also, you can be suspended for 30 days. Have something important to post — too bad.
When someone gets suspended, you can lose contact with them. I have lost contact with some artists and some people posting interesting content.
You can lose contact can happen in multiple ways.
[1] Your individual account is deleted.
[2] Their individual account is deleted.
[3] The social platform is shutdown by the business. They are shut down all the time.
[4] The new owner of a social platform changes rules drastically and shutsdown accounts by the hundreds. Tumblr had a shutdown account massacre when it got bought by Verizon.
[5] The social platform is targeted by morally censorious groups. Only Fans was planning to shutdown adult content and basically massacre the majority of its base to have an accomodation with banks.
[6] The start up platform wants to go public and do a stock offering. You helped built their base, now they want to dump you.
[7] Their nation shuts down a platform.
[8] Your nation shuts down a platform.
[9] Your platform owner gets arrested. One of the co-owners of Telegram was on a stop while flying and arrested in France.
You need to be multiply connected if you want to make sure you are in contact.
Quality of connections ranked. Which ones to avoid.
[1] Substack. Very Good. They have a policy of not caving into censorship.
[2] X. Fairly good. I have lost a contact on X though. I am not sure what the issue was. I also got some message which I didn’t understand. Though in general, Gay artists are free from censorship under the Elon Musk regime.
[3] Facebook, Tiktok, Instagram, YouTube. POOR. People find accounts shutdown all the time. People find content unfairly pulled. Tiktok might get shutdown because of foreign policy conflicts.
[4] Reddit. Very Poor. Groups get shutdown all the time. Even if shutdown lots of censorship with of blocked images that you have to click on to see.
[5] Telegram. Unknown. I haven’t used them.
[6] Linktree. This might be very good, since they could go to your link tree and find out where you currently are on your media. They would have to book mark you. I haven’t looked into this yet.
Avoid Medium. My first account was there and they shut me down.
Others. These are right wing sites and so you might get kicked off. Though given that they put heavy emphasize as non-censored alternatives to Meta it might be worth checking it out. You might face stigmatizing.

Strategy.
I am going to be looking into Linktree and see how it might be useful.
[1] Get multiple accounts and groups on the social media.
[2] Let your followers know in each account what your other accounts are. Point out that many social media platforms often delete accounts. Do a post like this post here. Keep it updated. Post it occasionally.
[3] Get on X. Don’t whine about Elon Musk. It is Meta which is going to wipe you out or harrass you by deleting posts.
[4] If you are doing a newsletter, get on Substack.
[5] For those who you wish to be connected to someone, follow or friend them on multiple media.
[6] Have more than one identity on a platform if possible. For example, someone might be a Facebook friend, and then be a member of your Page or Group on Facebook.
[7] Have accounts that function as holding places and aren’t active. Since they aren’t active, they won’t get shutdown for content. If your supporters are followers, they will know to go there and get an update if your account on another platform is shutdown. In particular have accounts with platforms which have records of not censoring.
Some backup platforms might have stigma, so they might be safe from deletion, but your followers and friends won’t join. But you don’t have to rely on just one platform. It also might be that because of circumstances that the stigmatized platform is the only place you have an account that wasn’t wiped out.
[8] Three emails. Gmail, Outlook, and your local ISP.
[9] If you are an author, make sure your author page on Amazon is set up. At least if they are trying to find you, they can.
Final comments.
As time goes on, I will up date this when I find new platforms to join or have warnings about existing platforms and also learn new strategies.
