Swindoll will be replaced by Jonathan Murphy, a professor and department chair at Dallas Theological Seminary, a homophobic institution and full out inimical to LGBT.

Marketing Jesus Part 1. In this post he talks about pushing Jesus. It bothers him that not all Christians are homophobic like him. Sounds like a drug dealer to me.
Then, at other times, when controversial subjects like abortion, homosexuality, evolution, euthanasia, or the inerrancy of the Scriptures find their way to prime time debates, the “Christian” view is usually defended by some theological liberal who couldn’t tell the book of Genesis from Boy George. God's Holiness—the Exacting Standard That Condemns Sexual Abuse
Homosexuality is lumped in with incest and bestiality.
The practices of adultery, incest, fornication, bestiality, and homosexuality continue today, as does the Christian's call to reflect God's holiness in every aspect of his or her character. Peter reminded us of this in the New Testament, writing, "Like the Holy One who called you, be holy yourselves also in all your behavior" (1 Peter 1:15). [Boldface added.]

Insight for Today. In this post he refers to Henri Nouwen. This person is a big hero in Christian circles for repressing his homosexuality to serve Christ.

Summary
Another serious homophobe given a positive aticle by the Dallas Morning News. We need to understand that when the DMN does their occasional article for the LGBT in Dallas, it is a token gesture while the DMN steadily churns out reporting support for the homophobic Christians.
