I have been warning the Gay community that the violent attacks on the Gay events in South Korea is what Christianity in the future is going to be doing. The future is arriving now.

The Pride Parade in Auckland was stopped by extreme right church group.
It is headed by Brian Tamaki who has decided to target Pride events. First a library event and then the Pride parade. As usual the police and the city government are all words and worthless.
Gays need to consider self-defense. At least purchase a small personal tear gas canister.
These protestors were outnumbered by maybe 20 to 1 or a 100 to 1, and could have been dealt with easily, but lead by the LGBTQXYZ+ they did nothing. (Okay, maybe a few hissy fits.)

There needs to be effective self-defense and not this pacifistic sentimentalism.
There is this constant message to Gays to “fight hate with love.” That isn’t going to be a defense of our community. The LGBTQXYZ+ is more concerned about not causing problems for the establishment than defending the Gay community.
What is really pathetic about this whole thing was that even though these protestors were unarmed and out numbered easily 20 to 1 or 50 to 1, the LGBTQ+ just stood there. Our community needs to be having a fighting spirit.
