Christian of anti-Gay church doesn't want Gay flags at Dallas City Hall in Dallas Morning News supposedly for unity.
He is a Deacon at Grace Bible Church which seems to be some fundamentalist sect thinking about the end of the world and is homophobic.

David J. Kohl has essay against flying the Pride flags at Dallas City Hall during Pride month.
Dallas Morning News, July 1, 2025, “Should Dallas fly Pride flag?” by David J. Kohl.
Yet, as we elevate one community’s flag, we must ask whether we are inadvertently creating division where we seek to foster unity.
And:
This decision underscores the need for neutrality in public spaces, especially those representing an entire city. Government buildings are not private homes or businesses; they are shared spaces for all, and as such, their symbols must unify rather than risk alienation.
And:
Why give ammunition to those partisan voices who will seek to divide us over symbols meant to unite?

So who exactly is David Kohl?
As we research who is David Kohl we discover another reason and perhaps not so much about unity.
Seems to be a person who is a Deacon at Grace Bible Church.

Marriage and The Christian Home. We believe that marriage was designed by God to be an exclusive lifelong covenantal relationship between one man and one woman. We believe that the ultimate expression of God’s design for marriage is between a Christian man and a Christian woman in that their marriage reflects Christ’s relationship to the Church. We believe that God has allowed some to serve Him in singleness rather than marriage using them to accomplish His purposes by this ministry. Page 4 of 13 We believe that children are a gift of the Lord and have human life and value from the moment of conception. We believe that parents are responsible to instruct and nurture their children in all matters of life and faith. We believe that children are to honor their parents during their lifetimes. (Genesis 1:26–27; 2:15, 23-24; Matthew 19:4-6; 12:46–50; First Corinthians 7:25–35; Ephesians 5:21-32).
If we look at the pattern laid out for us in Romans One, we will see that moral apostasy begins with a heterosexual revolution: “Therefore, God gave them over in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, so that their bodies would be dishonored among them.” A heterosexual revolution is the first phase of the moral collapse of individuals and nations. A person would be hard-pressed not to know that our culture began a downturn in this regard in the mid-1960’s and has continued in decline ever since.
The second phase is similar to the first, but with a twist: phase two is a homosexual revolution. They exchanged the truth of God for a lie and worshipped the creature rather than the Creator ... and for this reason God gave them over to degrading passions, for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, and in the same way, also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error – Romans 1:24-27 These verses do not require additional commentary for they state clearly the sad situation in which we find ourselves today. The rate of cultural decline in America regarding this matter, and the resulting redefinition of the Divine Institution of Marriage, is evident to all. On June 26, 2015, the White House, the national symbol of our country, was lite with the rainbow colors, celebrating the adoption of homosexual marriage as an American standard, though it is a perversion of God’s ordained plan for the relationship of man and woman8. “Grace Bible Church” seems to be a very popular name for a church. There are many churches with this name.
Not very informative additional material. But I was able to match the face to the face in the Grace Bible Church webpage.
