Dallas Morning News puff piece on the Christian nationalist Concerned Women for America.
As usually happens with the reporting of the Dallas Morning News (DMN), the homophobia of a Christian group is being omitted from their reporting.
It is about a bus tour to rally Christian voters. It had made a stop in Hurst, but you don’t know from the article where they stopped. There is a photo of a meeting, but the signage is blurred.
The anti-Gay beliefs of the Concerned Women of America
This article is titled, “Why is Homosexuality Wrong?”
I am a nurse so I understand why homosexuality is wrong anatomically. There is no anatomic union between a man and a man or a woman and a woman. There are no parts that healthily fit in either sexual union. A woman and a woman do not fit together. In the sexual act, they stay outside of any union or find devices to simulate the natural sexual act between a man and a woman. A man and a man do the same thing. They simulate the union of man and women by having a sexual act in an area of the body that is very unclean, the colon. Both lesbians and homosexual men are artificially copying the natural sexual union of a man and a woman.

A Great Disappointment
Many people felt like me on Saturday after the marriage decision in Obergefell v. Hodges came down — a sense of loss and perhaps even fear. We trust God but maybe felt a little abandoned by Him. Perhaps some of you felt like someone expressed to me: “Thanks for nothing, God.” This is, of course, patently ridiculous on our part. I’m reminded of God’s response to Job:

Some who fight for homosexual “rights” accuse Christians of being hateful because of their support for the traditional definition of marriage. But there is a fundamental problem with that equation. A Christian, by definition, cannot hate homosexuals.
