Dallas Morning News endorses Melody Fowler, Albert Zapanta, of major homophobic institutions for elected office.
The election of these individuals would be a serious blow against the LGBT. DMN has no real concern over the humanity of the LGBT.

Melody Fowler is Vice-President at the homophobic Arlington Baptist University.
This is a really horrific danger to LGBT students at Arlington ISD. The Dallas Morning News article even mentions that she is a vice president, so they know, and they still endorse her.
Fowler, a vice president at Arlington Baptist University, was elected to the Arlington ISD board in 2018. [Boldface added.]

In this Facebook Fowler thanks the DMN for their endorsement.
This post has documentation of this seriously homophobic university.
Albert Zapanta is a Trustee of the notoriously homophobic Univ. of Dallas
The DMN knows that he a trustee of this notoriously homophobic institution and still endorsed him.
The incumbent has a formidable civic résumé. Zapanta is president of the United States-Mexico Chamber of Commerce and is a member of the University of Dallas board of trustees. [Boldface added.]
If you do some Googling you will see that being an officer isn’t an impediment to being accepted by the DFW corporate establishment.
Commentary - We see the real face of the Dallas Morning News.
These are just two major homophobes we found endorsed by the Dallas Morning News, by some random spot checks of their endorsements in less than a week. There are likely many more.
Do you think the Dallas Morning News would endorse a candidate who was a member of the KKK or some other known racist groups? They would not.
Do you think they would endorse a candidate who was a neo-Nazi or a member of some known anti-Semitic groups? They would not.
Yet, they endorse officers of seriously homophobic groups.
They don’t take the human rights of the LGBT seriously at all. To them it is a controversy like whether you should put ketchup on your steak or not. The controversy about LGBT might be news, but the humanity of the LGBT is nothing on the Dallas Morning News scale of what is important or not.
Their endorsement of major homophobes for office is a force sustaining the serious homophobia of the DFW area.
We have this lengthy list of them giving a free pass to homophobic Christianity, which has 12 entries from April 25, 2023 to April 12, 2023.
What was really misleading is this reporting on the “He Gets Us” ads.
Of course the LGBT types that crave establishment approval will point out some token thing by the Dallas Morning News to excuse them. For example, this article, “‘Queering the Fair’ examins the contributions of LGBTQIA+ artists in Texas.”
It is news. So they report it. Doesn’t mean they take seriously our human rights.
They also know that it would be of interest to upscale urban readers. Doesn’t mean they take seriously our human rights.
Also, the City of Dallas wants to maintain an image and look like it is a normal progressive city, rather than the homophobic cesspool of Evangelical Christians that it is. So these token gestures are done. Doesn’t mean they take seriously our human rights.
The Dallas Morning News is one of the major supporting elements of homophobia in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
