I am not so sure it was actually spam that was the reason for banning me. I had a post pulled on the Gay Agenda. I think they just throw out suspensions as a one size fits all and see who appeals.
I think they have an attitude that the people writing Substacks are very disposable.
My account was suspended because supposedly it was spam or phishing. I didn’t get any notification. I just discovered it late last night when I went to work on a post. I wasn’t notified. I had to do an appeal.
I wasn’t told which of my posts were considered spam or phishing. No apology. No explanation. I don’t dare include a link to anything at his point.
I don’t know what triggered it, but I notice that the last art post the work by Insanelad is no longer online. I won’t be reposting it either. I don’t think I can do any art showcases anymore. I don’t recommend Substack for artists.
There was no way for me to contact my subscribers when it happened.
I am not entirely sure what I am going to do. Perhaps all my posts need to be downloaded as html files or saved at the Internet Archive or both. Not going to provide a link to the Internet Archive, but you can Google it. [Don’t want to be flagged for spam.]
This seems to be a risk on having your material on a platform. People on Tumblr got wiped out. Elon Musk just eliminated the newsletter feature of Twitter (now X). Reddit groups get banned. Facebook is banning people all the time for reasons the victims don’t know about. OnlyFans announced that they were going to ban adult content, until they realized that they wouldn’t have a company left if they did so.
Do not make any comments. It might trigger a spam designation.
I tried asking for explanations, but I just get the support AI running in circles.
