Pope Francis praises this very active homophobic group.
Some silly Gay Catholics go on and on about Pope Francis. The thing is that the Catholic Church is very adept at having a multiplicity of positions on an issue that technically don’t contradict, but allow it to have many faces.
I put some posts on the silly Gay Catholics at the end of this post.

They have a 48-page book against Gays. They like to refer to same-sex attraction to attempt to eliminate the idea of having a Gay identity. They refer to “people with SSA,” (Page 11), where SSA is “Same Sex Attraction). You can download it for free.

This pamphlet is upset with multiple types of sexual expression, but on page 16 they have a section on homosexuality.
“Basing itself on Sacred Scripture, which presents homosexual acts as acts of grave depravity [Genesis 19:1-29; Romans 1:24-27; 1 Corinthians 6:10; 1 Timothy 1:10],141 tradition has always declared that ‘homosexual acts are intrinsically disordered.’142 They are contrary to the natural law. They close the sexual act to the gift of life. They do not proceed from a genuine affective and sexual complementarity [that is, they refuse the divinely designed “otherness” built into sexuality]. Under no circumstances can they be approved” (CCC 2357) [Boldface added.]

Sodomy. Sodomitical acts, e.g., anal sex, oral sex, can be either heterosexual (done by persons of the opposite sex) or homosexual (done by persons of the same sex). Such acts are in many ways similar to acts of masturbation insofar as sodomites choose to use their own and each other’s bodies as a mere means of providing consciously experienced satisfactions. They thus choose in a way that violates the good of personal integrity as bodily persons insofar as they treat their own and each other’s bodies as mere instruments of the consciously experiencing subject. They thus violate the nuptial meaning of the body and thus the body’s capacity for the marital act, and in this way they violate the good of marriage itself.40 Today many claim that individuals who find that their homosexual disposition cannot satisfy their sexual urges and natural inclination toward intimate communion save by establishing a more or less permanent and exclusive relationship, including genital intimacy, with a person of the same sex, are morally justified insofar as their relationship can be regarded as marital. Indeed, some today claim that homosexually inclined persons have a right to marry and that their sexual unions ought to be legally recognized as marital. [Boldface in the original.]

Second, the model of homosexual relations is contrary to man’s personal good. In a pre-papal book, the future Pope John Paul II called it “harmonious egoisms”: the consensual using of each of other for gratification, in which two “I”s remain two “I”s and never become a genuine communion of persons, a “we.” The paternal meaning of masculinity is rejected in the very act made by God for it to be expressed. While two men may genuinely love each other, the mutual utilitarianism involved in homosexual activity, rather than “making love,” actually corrodes the love that may exist between them. Statistics in fact show that the more sexual a same-sex relationship, the more quickly it leads to a break-up. In same-sex activity, men, rather than taking responsibility for the other’s good, spiritually, psychologically and medically, actually become consensual consumers of the other.

From pages 21-22.
This point becomes extremely practical when applied to questions like homosexuality. Homosexual feelings are not sins, since they are not freely chosen. Homosexual acts are “intrinsically disordered”(as the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith has declared) because they “are contrary to the natural law. They close the sexual act to the gift of life. They do not proceed from a genuine affective and sexual complementarity” (CCC 2357). Homosexual acts are sinful (as are heterosexual acts outside marriage) insofar as they are freely chosen acts of disobedience to God’s known will and law. Homosexual desires, feelings, and emotions are disordered; they are troubles, but not sins, unless freely chosen by the will.

The non-religious view, which has become popular in the modern secular West, is that marriage is manmade, not God-made, and therefore it is whatever we want it to be. We can change it. It conforms to us, not we to it. Thus secularists can speak of “open marriage” (a euphemism for adultery), polygamous, polyandrous, or even group “marriages,” homosexual “marriages,” temporary “marriages,” or even “marriage” between a man and an animal, if they wish. Marriage to them is “whatever” – whatever they make it. Marriage to us is a “this” – this reality God has made.
The Fourth Commandment. Family and Social Morality. Section 6.
https://www.kofc.org/un/en/resources/cis/cis126.pdf
From page 6.
This fundamental principle radically distinguishes Catholic social and political morality from modern secular alternatives. Almost always, the secularist ignoring of God and his authority is accompanied by an ignoring of the family, its authority, and its priority over the state. Secularists naturally tend to over estimate states and underestimate families because states are made by man, and made in many different forms, while the family is designed by God, not man, and cannot be essentially redesigned in different forms — though secularists today often attempt to do just that, for example by declaring the artificial, temporary, and sterile union of two or more homosexuals to be a “family” just as much as the natural, permanent, and procreative union of a husband and wife.

96. Another kind of suffering is felt through the collective sin of the culture of death. I realize that it is a very real and difficult struggle for parents to raise faithful, spiritually confident children in a society steeped in sins against life and authentic love: where abortion is rampant and support for euthanasia grows, where despair and the violence it breeds explode in schools and neighborhoods, where consumerism and materialism enslave, where pornography invades every formerly safe and sacred aspect of life, where increasing numbers of children are encouraged to question their sexual identity in the wake of the lie of gender ideology,30 and where the damaging and perverse homosexual lifestyle is not only accepted but celebrated. Families of faith, the Church desires to be your support and guide as you navigate daily life in the hostility of the postmodern climate. [Boldface added.]

Saint Joseph and the Culture of life
At the center of Saint Joseph’s consciousness was the awareness that the eternal God became man in Mary’s womb. Loving and reverencing everything human, he teaches us how precious human life is. Joseph stands at the origin of the new culture of life initiated by the Incarnation of the Word. Devotion to Saint Joseph teaches Christians to love and reverence human life, to understand how sacred are virginity, conception, motherhood, spousal love and parental love. Saint Joseph helps young people to be chaste. He helps men to be strong and faithful husbands, tender and loving fathers of their sons and daughters. He helps sons and daughters who have been wounded in their relationships with their fathers to forgive rather than turn to self-destructive homosexual behavior. He is a model of chaste and tender manhood for women who have been scarred in their relationships with men. Saint Joseph is the special guardian and guide of women who have consecrated their lives in spousal love of Christ; the model of manliness for priests who have the mission to guard and protect the Church, bride of Christ, and our Lord, present in his word and in the sacrament of the Eucharist. Homosexuality: The condition of a person whose sexual orientation is toward persons of the same rather than the opposite sex. The condition is not sinful in itself. Homosexual acts are seriously sinful in themselves; subjective responsibility for such acts, however, may be conditioned and diminished by compulsion and related factors.

Wealthy, Powerful, a danger to Gays.
Between 2010 and 2014, according to earlier NCR reporting, the Knights spent more than $1.4 million to sponsor Catholic bishops attending medical ethics workshops that included speakers opposing homosexuality, same-sex marriage and same-sex parenting. Presentations included psychologically discredited claims that people who identify as gay or transgender can be "cured" through counseling and can become heterosexual.
The anti-gay training for bishops is coordinated by the National Catholic Bioethics Center, according to a 2014 report in NCR by Nicole Sotelo. The center is another organization that receives Knights of Columbus support. In 2014, it received $250,000; in 2015, $300,617.
Much of the political activity in recent years appears to align with Anderson's earlier political life. His official biography on the Knights website notes his "distinguished career as a public servant," but provides none of the particulars. He began his public career working for Republican Sen. Jesse Helms of North Carolina, known throughout his five-term career as one of the most conservative members of Congress. Helms was an ardent supporter of the death penalty and military spending and opposed civil rights legislation and arms control.
Anderson later worked in the Reagan White House as a special assistant to the president in the office of public liaison, dealing with domestic policy, Catholics and family issues.
Notably, when the issue of AIDS first surfaced, Anderson differed with then-Surgeon General C. Everett Koop on how to speak of the disease. Anderson wanted the government to use language that contained moral judgments about those afflicted. According to Koop's autobiography, Anderson also wanted the surgeon general to say that "all Americans [not most Americans, as Koop maintained] are opposed to homosexuality, promiscuity of any kind and prostitution." Koop wrote that Anderson "did not seem to understand that I could not say it because it was not true."
