Letters to Plano mayor, city council members, police chief, and Collin Co. Dist. Atty. about pernicious book being shown to children.
It is a book full of murder, mayhem, incest, rape, genocide, human trafficking, and cannibalism made available to children and sometimes they are asked to study it!

Wrote letters to the Plano mayor, city council members, police chief, and Collin Co. district attorney about a pernicious book which children are being exposed to.
I was inspired to write by TX Rep. Matt Shaheen.
The letter is as follows.
I will provide links to some of the books I mention.

Dear Hon. Muns:
The safety and welfare of children are the highest concern of any civilized society. I am writing you to investigate what I think is an appalling practice pernicious to the welfare of the children of Plano that is being perpetrated by certain religious cults in Plano.
The children are being groomed to read a pernicious book full of incest, rape, murder, genocide, polygamy, human sacrifice and cannibalism, which additionally supports human trafficking.
If you were to give children the notorious decadent collection of books: “Caliph Vathek “by William Beckford; “La Bas” by J.K. Huysman; “Les Chants de Maldoror,” by Comte de Lautréamont; “Lés Fleurs du Mal,” by Charles Baudelaire; “The Monk: A Romance,” by Matthew Gregory Lewis; “Metamorphoses” by Ovid; “One Thousand and One Arabian Nights,” unexpurgated translation; “Satyricon,” by Petronious; and some of the Harvard Univ. Press Loeb Classic translations of Greek poetry, I dare not mention the specific volumes; they would not contain one-hundredth of the black moral poison of this book.
TRIGGER WARNING. Some of the stories in this book, are really horrific and for the more sensitive reader I suggest that they do not read past this point in the letter, and perhaps burn this letter.
The book of these cults is called the Bible. Let me summarize a story from this book as an example. In a section of the book, Genesis 19, a character Lot offers his daughters to a mob to be gang raped. These same daughters later get their father drunk to rape him committing incest.
Call me old-fashioned, but I don’t think this really represents good family values nor something children should be reading.
In Judges 11, some guy named Jephthah sacrifices his daughter to God. Deuteronomy 22 asks for the stoning of rebellious children. Perhaps Child Protective Services needs to get involved.
This Wikipedia entry gives numerous examples of incest in the Bible.

Though it seems that at some point the stories of incest stop, is this what children should be reading?
This is the Wikipedia entry about rape in the Bible. Should children be reading about this?

Human trafficking is condoned in Exodus 21:7-11 where a father sells his daughter as a slave whose purpose is to be the sexual partner of the purchaser or his son.
Genocide, human trafficking, murder, mayhem, and rape frequently are all together in a Biblical passage, such as for Numbers 31. The following is written by the American Revolutionary hero Thomas Paine about Numbers 31.
When the Jewish army returned from one of their plundering and murdering excursions, the account goes on as follows: Numbers, chap, xxxi., ver. 13:
“And Moses, and Eleazar the priest, and all the princes of the congregation, went forth to meet them without the camp; and Moses was wroth with the officers of the host, with the captains over thousands, and captains over hundreds, which came from the battle; and Moses said unto them, Have ye saved all the women alive f behold, these caused the children of Israel, through the council of Balaam, to commit trespass against the Lord in the matter of Peor, and there was a plague among the congregation of the Lord. Now, therefore, kill every male among the little ones, and hill every woman that hath known a man by lying with him; hut all the women-children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves.”
Among the detestable villains that in any period of the world have disgraced the name of man, it is impossible to find a greater than Moses, if this account be true. Here is an order to butcher the boys, to massacre the mothers, and debauch the daughters.
Besides this is a gross violation of the Hague Convention and the laws of warfare of any civilized people, I don’t think this is something children should be reading about.
It is very plausible that the psychopath Alex, in Anthony Burgess’ novel, “A Clockwork Orange,” loves reading the Bible while in prison because he is fond of the passages in the Old Testament of violence, murder, mayhem, and torture.
Is it any wonder that the news media is chronically reporting that religious leaders using this book, with its seething narratives of violent sex and incest, are involved with sex scandals?
Then there is an account of cannibalism in the Bible and these religious cultists weekly practice ritual cannibalism where they devour their God.
John 6:51-58
51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live forever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
52 The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat?
53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.
54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
55 For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.
56 He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.
57 As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.
58 This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live forever.
This doesn’t refer to some ectoplasm or vague spiritual energy, it is “flesh” and “blood.” A common English usage is to say, “We are having the Petersons over for dinner,” meaning that we are inviting the Peterson to come eat with us. However, with Christians I would advise the Petersons to obtain clarification before accepting a dinner invitation and perhaps keep a small weapon, perhaps a taser, concealed on your person if you decide to attend. I think it is reasonable to wonder what the motivation of Jeffrey Dahmer to become a Christian and take part in the eucharist was.
For the Roman Catholics, Eastern Orthodox and others transubstantiation holds that the communion only looks like bread and wine, but it really is the body and blood of Christ. I think though that it is unlikely that the Food and Drug Administration would find any human proteins in either communion wafers or sacramental wine, excepting like in an industrial accident like those in John Sinclair’s novel, “The Jungle.”
With the various Protestant denominations, such as, Southern Baptists, Reckless Handlers of Vipers, The Vaccinated in Christ, Harassers of Science Teachers and others, the theological ideas about this ritual devouring of their god varies, but they use the terms, “body” and “blood” of Christ and do a ritual consumption.
Even if believed by the cultist that this ritual cannibalism is purely symbolic, I think it still isn’t kid friendly at all.
These cults have places where they have children read the Bible, they call it Sunday school and at these schools have what they call Bible Study, and these horrors in the Bible are normalized. You would think that in these Bible classes, offending pages would be glued together, to avoid children accidentally opening to the many lurid murderous violent pages, but shockingly they don’t. Stapling won’t do, because staples can be removed, and tape won’t do, since tape can be cut.
These Bibles are left in hotel rooms by these cultists where any child can gain access and open up pages and read about incest and rape.
Given that “groomer” is a slang expression, lacking precise definition, I can’t really say that is grooming, but these children are being conditioned to accept horrible things as normal, like a father offering his daughters for gang rape as being morally acceptable.
Finally, there is this crucifixion thing. A body with nails through the palms of the hands and through the feet and with a crown of thorns on the head. Really creepy. Children look at this when they attend these cults’ ritual places. Many of the members wear these crosses with the nailed Jesus on their persons, or something that is not figurative, but represents this crucifixion. Is this something a child should see? I don’t think so.
I hope that the City of Plano takes seriously the welfare of children and acts decisively to protect them from these malign influences.
Sincerely yours,
Edward H. Sebesta

Postscript
I suspect that there will be a depraved indifference to exposing children to this horrific book, but I feel least I made some effort.
