Though neglect by the medical establishment, mpox was allowed to continue to rage in Africa. Now, very late, they are resonding, but it has already spread to multiple nations.

Deadly strain of mpox rages in Congo region of Africa.
CORRECTION:
The correct comparison should have been Clade 1b vesus Clade 2. Clade 1b fataility rate is 0.6% which is 3 times more deadly.
This is 15 times more deadly than the previous mpox strain. It is about 3 times deadly than covid was. From Science magazine, Aug. 3, 2024. This is the official publication of the American Assocation for the Advancement of Science. This isn’t some site coughed up by a search engine.
The mpox virus found in the DRC, known as clade 1, has killed about 3% of those infected in the past year. The milder variety of mpox, clade 2, erupted from Nigeria in May 2022, infecting nearly 100,000 people in 116 countries to date and spreading mainly among men who have sex with men (MSM). Only 208 deaths have been reported, a case fatality rate of 0.2%.

Old strain mpox is already making a comeback.
It seems people have neglected getting their vaccination and neglecting getting both doses. With the cases declining people have gotten complacent.
The Biden administration really needs to be working on a single dose vacciantion.
Potential for hysteria against Gays.
The last outbreak in Dallas was 98.5% men. If the next wave of mpox hits mostly heterosexuals, the confused and addled headed public, might well decide to blame Gays.
We see that the public has a large segment of fools who are anti-vaxxers. They have other irrational ideas. There is a whole Christian raw milk drinking public despite bird flu in dairy cattle.
Neglect leads to this present danger.
The title of the article in Nature magazine, May 12, 2023, one of the two most pestigious magazines in the English speaking world is, “‘The disease will be neglected’: scientists react to the WHO ending mpox emergency.” This is the link to the article.

The article points out that the problem of mpox needs more attention and it seems that the focus is going to be diminished.
Titanji says that the coming Northern Hemisphere summer might encourage infection spread. “We’re beginning to hear about reports of new clusters of cases, some of these cases being reported in people who were vaccinated last summer — and there’s still lots of things we don’t understand about this virus and how it’s moving within populations,” says Titanji. “These questions need to be addressed before we take a victory lap and say, we’re done with this.”
“Large swathes of the population do not have immunity against mpox,” she adds. “If the disease is introduced into the right networks by travel, by festivals and all that happens around the summer, then it’s not unrealistic that we may yet again see surges in this outbreak.”
Also, they point out that mpox is still not fully understood in how it might spread.
As the recent Aug. 3, 2024 Science magazine we see that they are now launching programs for vaccination in Africa. Given what happened in 2022, shouldn’t they have been doing this in 2023 before the present crisis?
This should tell Gays where they stand with the Biden administration. Slack on this from the beginning.
Microorganisms, viruses, bacteria, fungi, and whatever evolve. It appears that mpox has evolved.
It seems though, that since it is identified currently as a disease only impacting men having sex with men, it isn’t a priority. It doesn’t seem to be a concern with the LGBT+ establishment either.

The subject of the neglect of tropical diseases has been in the scientific press for years.
In the year 2050 will we be discussing a whole series of tropical diseases hitting the Gay community, there will be HIV, then mpox, and who knows what next?
