Their previous locations were in strip malls, but this location is on a lot and not in a mall. Picketing it will not disturb the neighbors much nor have any impact on a business.

They have a church directory in which you can see Stedfast Baptist Church. The address is out of date, but the URL is correct.
http://faithfulwordbaptist.org/page10.html
So it appears that Stedfast Baptist Church, now in Cedar Hill, Texas is part of this network.
Past History
It appears that they were part of the New Independent Fundamentalist Baptist Church.
There seemed to have been a network New Independent Fundamentalist Baptist churches. They were all to have King James Only bibles. They are infamous for being anti-homosexual and anti-Jewish.
This is a Wikipedia entry for this group.

However, the webpage for them doesn’t exist and it is unclear that this network exists anymore.
The archive link didn’t work, but I found this archived page with a directory of churches in this network.

Currently they are doing a series of Tweets specifically for Pride month.

I am not going to keep updating this for the full month of June. I think these first 10 days give a good example.
Analysis
There are some issues with the LGBT response to the Stedfast Church.
They are very small and not influential. Yet, given their frank hostility towards homosexuals, they distract from the much more significant and powerull anti-Gay Christian groups and institutions in Dallas County and DFW area.
More seriously, homophobic churches can use them to make themselves look better. The homophobic churhes who like to say, “Love the sinner, hate the sin,” find churches like Stedfast useful to make them look good.
Christians thrive on persecution, it is their sustenance. Stories of martyrdom are pillars proping them up. The whole Christian mythology is full of martyrs, wanderings in the wilderness, facing persection. The Romans threw them to the lions and the Christians ended up in control of the Roman Empire and then the Western world. It needs to be considered whether a plan of action against them hinders them or makes them thrive. Picketing makes them feel like they are Christian heroes.
To some extent picketing them is good though, because it mobilizings the LGBT community.
There is also the problem in how homophobic Christian organizations are dealth with by some Gay Christians and other Christians. Someone will want to argue that the Bible isn’t anti-Gay locating the rights of Lesbians and Gay within the Bible and making it contingent on the outcome of a theological debate. The rights of the LGBT need to be on the basis that we don’t live in a theocracy.
Similarly in regards to homophobic churches the discussion is often dragged into a theological discussion of what “real Christianity” is. This is another theological quagmire and really is more a defense of Christianity than a defense of Gays.
In both these cases the discussion of strategizing what we should do about homophobic churches and how we defend the LGBT from them is shut down and replaced with theological debates that will have no end. We also are choosing to discuss the issue on the opposition’s home ground so to speak.
We forego bringing up the issue of how these churches are a danger to civil society and also doing a critical analysis of how they think and how to stay things to psychologically disable them. Further what we can say to bring them into disrepute with the public. Instead the strategy has been to either vent or make an effort to bring them over to some syrupy theology so their hearts are won over and they aren’t anti-homosexual. The idea that we might strike back with propaganda and psychology is ruled out because some like to be “turning the cheek” and playing other games.
I think these two strategies can be adopted.
Track their connections with society and protest those aiding and abetting them. Keep them isolated.
Have the discussion about them focused on their psychology as to their motivations to target homosexuals. Please, not the tactic of they might be self-repressed homosexual and projecting. What motivates these people to do what they do? Why do they need a crusade and something defined as absolute evil, and what would motivate them to do this? Making them self-recognize their motivations is likely to get them to quit.
Analyze them to subject them to public ridicule.
Go after their entire belief system, not just the anti-homosexual part and focus on how it is self-serving.
Likely there are other means isolate them and make them feel stupid.
I discuss some of the problems in how anti-homosexual churches are dealt more in depth as part of this report.
