Dallas Morning News, Sept. 21, 2024, Dallas church announces removal of lead pastor due to ‘inappropriate relationship’.”
Lawson, 73, became the teaching pastor at Trinity Bible Church in 2018, the same year the church was founded. Before that, he spent over 40 years as a pastor at churches in Arkansas and Alabama. He has been an influential advocate for Reformed theology, which adheres to Calvinist doctrines about God’s sovereignty and the inerrancy of the Bible.
He has written over 30 books and served as the dean of doctor of ministry studies at The Master’s Seminary, founded by John MacArthur, and as a board member at Ligonier Ministries, founded by R.C. Sproul, according to biographical material on the church’s website and his nonprofit’s website, some of which has been taken down since Lawson’s removal.
This is why it is important to save stuff at the Internet Archive. I will provide a link to a post on the Internet Archive at the end of this post. Of course I am using the Internet Archive for the links I use here.

From their, “Statement on Human Sexuality.”
As our Creator, God stipulates in His Word that the only legitimate and acceptable sexual desires and sexual acts are those between a man and a woman within the context of marriage.[5]
Marriage
We believe marriage is a gift of God’s common grace to all mankind as a fundamental building block of society.[6] As the architect of marriage, God alone retains the right to define its constructs and guidelines, and He has done so in His Word.[7] In accordance with Scripture, we teach that God’s design for marriage is a public, formal, and official covenant between one male and one female.[8]

One Passon Announces Steve Lawson’s resignation.
The devil is evidently tricky. He will convince you to stick your dick in a pussy.
The board of OnePassion Ministries mournfully announces that just recently Steven J. Lawson confessed to the board that he has had an inappropriate relationship with a woman, a sin that has disqualified him from ministry. In response Steve has resigned from all his duties at OnePassion Ministries.
All scheduled events and engagements have been canceled.
Steve has confessed and regrets the damage he has caused to his family, the church, the reputation of OnePassion Ministries and most of all Jesus Christ.
We are saddened for the glory of Christ in this matter. The truth of the gospel will continue go out to the lost world as it is empowered by the Holy Spirit and not by men. It is a reminder that we have been warned of the craftiness of the enemy.
“Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour (1 Peter 5:8).”

Homophobia of Steven J. Lawson
This is his arrogant homophobia.

From a sermon, Workplace Christianity.
When we come to the New Testament, just one verse I want to comment before we get into our passage is in 1 Timothy 1:10, in which the New Testament prohibits people from being kidnappers. And these who were kidnappers actually kidnapped in order to sell someone into slavery. And that was absolutely forbidden to take someone against their will, and to then sell them to someone else, that they would now become your slave. In fact, it was such a hideous sin to do this, is that people who were kidnappers for slavery are put in the same list in verse 9 of this passage – or excuse me, they are called ungodly, they're called sinners, they're called unholy, and they're called profane, those who kidnap people and put them into slavery. And those who do so are mentioned in the same verse, verse 10, as homosexuals, and liars, and perjurers, and immoral men. And so Paul condemns this sin of capturing another person and forcing them into slavery against their will, and he equates it with the eighth commandment of the Ten Commandments, Exodus 20:15, "You shall not steal," and one expression of stealing would be to steal the life of another person and sell them into bondage to someone else.
From A Christ-Centered Family.
And so, "be subject to your husbands." The word "husbands" here means a married male. And even here in a somewhat indirect way God is establishing that marriage is only between a man and a woman. It is never a man and a man or a woman and a woman. Such is an abomination and blasphemy against God. And so, "be subject to your husbands," it's interesting it does not read, "be subject by your husbands," but, "to your husbands," and it really puts the ball into the court of the wife, that you must choose to do this, because this is God's will and design for your life.

Homophobic junk at the website.
From Preaching as Warfare.
Conversely, preachers sometimes feel the need to cut doctrinal corners in an attempt to be accommodating and tolerant. Hard-edged truths such as the need for eye-gouging repentance (Matt. 5:29), or countercultural loyalty to biblical assessment of homosexual practice, abortion, or the role of women in ecclesiastical office may be blunted in order to soften the contrast with contemporary taboos.

From Preaching in a Postmodern World. You will have to scroll down a little.
One dominating trend within the last fifteen or twenty years is that younger men have not wanted to be as negative in their posture toward the culture as they perceive their spiritual fathers to have been. They perceive the tone of evangelicalism on issues such as abortion and homosexuality to be negative toward the culture, and they have wanted to strike a more ameliorating tone in their preaching. I understand why this is so, but I also want to say to some of our younger brothers that the culture knows they don’t like or agree with us, and there is no way to soften that. I would rather start out by saying to the culture, “You don’t like what I am going to say in four distinct ways, but I believe it anyway, and I’m going to preach it to you, and here is why you should accept it.” I don’t want to try to fool the culture by being ambiguous in those areas where Christian truth claims come into conflict with cultural norms or views.
From Profile of a Servant
It must be remembered that these early believers in Rome were not living in a Christian society. To the contrary, there was not a more immoral, pagan cesspool of iniquity than the Imperial City. Every foul depravity was present in Rome, including prostitution, adultery, lesbianism, homosexuality, and far worse. Nevertheless, this is exactly where God planted this gospel-witnessing church, next to the gates of hell. As the light shines brightest in the darkest night, their faith in Jesus Christ radiated throughout the Roman Empire.

As Paul writes the letter of Romans, he is writing to the church of believers in Rome. The city of Rome was the capital city of the Roman Empire. It was where Cesar has his palace. It was where the Roman senate meets. It was the power hub of the known world, with all of the abuses that come with such unbridled control. Not surprisingly, it was also the most vile, wicked, immoral city in the world. It was a cesspool of iniquity. It was a city that was rank with every kind of licentious sin imaginable. The Imperial City would have made Sodom and Gomorrah blush. In this city was everything from fornication to adultery, lesbianism, homosexuality, bestiality, robbery, lying, arrogance, pride, brutalities, slavery, forced labor, rape, polygamy, idolatry, murder, atheism, and more. There were no moral restraints left.

In 1 Corinthians 6:9, Paul writes, “Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God. Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified.” This points back to the time when God pulled the believers out of the foul pollution of sin and its wretched defilement. Paul asserted that God washed you, sanctified you, and set you apart to a totally different kingdom. It is the kingdom of God that is marked by holiness, righteousness, and purity. There was a break from their former lifestyle of fornication, idolatry, adultery, homosexuality, stealing, covetousness, drunkenness, reviling, and swindling. There was a clean break with their past. You went from darkness to light, from death to life. That happened the moment they were regenerated. They were washed, sanctified, and set apart.

The “tough question,” is how do you remain a bigotted individual and get along with family members who think you are a obnoxious homophobe.
By the way, notice the strategizing to go after the Gay son. Tell you parents if your husband can’t sleep with you to go to hell.
