What was Omar Narvaez holding? The Transgender Day of INVISIBILITY
There was no 2023 Transgender Day of Visibility by the Dallas Mayor or anyone else at Dallas City Hall.

An interesting presentation of a proclamation by Omar Narvaez.
I saw this on Facebook where Omar Narvaez is presenting a Transgender Day of Visibility by Mayor Eric Johnson at Sue Ellens. The screen capture of this Facebook post was on 4/2/2023. So you might make the presumption that it is a 2023 Proclamation by the City of Dallas. That presumption would be wrong.
The last Proclamation of of Transgender Day of Visibility was in 2021. There have been no Transgender Day of Visibility proclamations in 2022 and 2023.
Notice, the Stonewall Democrats don’t actually state what year this proclamation was issued. I guess that is what you can call plausible deniability.
My investigation is detailed after this image.
Investigation
When someone does something good, I think it should be acknowledged, but I also have a certain concern when the LGBT get a proclamation that it is a hidden proclamation. So before I did a post on this, I wanted to make sure that the proclamation is visible and not limited to a restricted venue, so I wanted to see if this proclamation was visible at Dallas City Hall or its existence hidden in confinement to Sue Ellens.
I noticed that the Dallas Voice hadn’t reported on any 2023 Proclamation. I might have missed it.
I searched using Google Advance search and the only proclamation I could find by anyone was in 2021 by Mayor Eric Johnson.
So I put in an Open Records Request.
They sent me the 2021 Proclamation so I had to send in another request emphasizing that I wanted the 2023 Proclamation.
The reply from the City Secretary was that there was only the 2021 Proclamation. Which means there hasn’t been a 2022 proclamation either.
So it seems that the proclamation presented by Omar Narvaez was a two-year old proclamation. Or it might be something else, but it wasn’t a 2023 Proclamation of a Transgender Day of Visibility.
No wonder Texas Senator Royce West voted against drag, and the drag show at On Rotation was shut down.
How serious should Royce West consider the LGBT in Dallas when stuff like this happens. It shouldn’t be wonder that he voted for anti-drag bills. [Link to a report on this at end of post.]
It isn’t surprising that Royce West helped launch the City Council campaign of Zarin Gracey when he can perceive the reality of what passes itself off as advocates for LGBT rights. [Link to a post at the end of this report.]
When the Mayor of Dallas is no longer willing to make a proclamation for Transgender Day of Visibility, doesn’t it tell the LGBT that the situation for LGBT rights in Dallas is eroding? Instead of covering this up, likely the LGBT need to be alerted that their situation is deteriorating.
With a weak LGBT movement, it isn’t a wonder that On Rotation decided to shutdown their drag show.
The situation for the LGBT is deteriorating and in Dallas all we have are vote harvestors of the Democratic party and politiical careerists.
