Wrote Dallas DA John Creuzot for DA records related to the 2010 Bathhouse raid.
I mailed this letter during the weekend. Lets find out how many friends the Dallas LGBT really has.
Subscriptions are free.
For those who are dismissive of this issue, I wish to share this report.
This is the tracking post to show what is happening over time trying to get the facts.
The letter.
I insert the images and pictures I sent with the letter into the following where I mention them. Update: As of 3/25/2024 I have not heard back from John Creuzot.

Dear Hon. Creuzot:
On Oct. 8, 2010, the Dallas Police Dept. raided The Club baths and arrested eleven men. This raid is one of the thirty world-historical raids reported by The Advocate from 1903 in New York City to 2016 in Kuala Lumpur.
You can read about these raids online at this link.
https://www.advocate.com/politics/2018/2/02/30-infamous-police-raids-gay-bars-and-bathhouses
The last bathhouse raid in the United States was in 1981. Dallas really has a talent for being retrograde.
I also enclose a printout of item No. 24 in from the above article which is specifically about the raid.
I enclose a copy of the Oct. 15, 2010 Dallas Voice article on the raid. You can also read about the raid at this link as a blog post of the Dallas Voice on Oct. 12, 2010.

Just in case that page disappears, I have it saved at the Internet Archive at:
The Portal to Texas History has the print edition of the Oct. 15, 2010 issue of the Dallas Voice first reporting on the Oct. 8, 2010 raid at:

I enclose a history of the raid on The Club in 2010 based on what resources I was able to find from the Portal to Texas history at the Univ. of North Texas and some other resources. You can also read it at this link.

The District Attorney dropped all the charges against the defendants in 2011. However, no records were released then. I have made an inquiry to Dallas County about getting the records released. Basically the reply functions such that unless I already have the records, I can’t get the records. I enclose a copy of my email to the County of Dallas requesting the records and the reply.
So my first request to you is to have your office release the records of the District Attorney related to this case.
Further the City of Dallas has refused to release the records of which I might have some of the information requested. I enclose a copy of the following post detailing the refusal. At first; they wanted to know if I was willing to pay $67.50 for the records, I said I would by both email and by certified mail. Then they asked for the money, and I paid it. Then they refused to send the records.

My second request to you, is to have your office write the City of Dallas that they release the records to me, and if they still don’t release the records, to sue them to do so.
In South Africa the attempt to address the wrongs done under apartheid involved the Truth and Reconciliation Commission. One critical component of its effort was to investigate the history of what happened.
Justice for historical wrongs starts with the history of wrong being written.
To refuse to release the records is to refuse the victims of wrong justice.
I ask that you release the records and assist me with getting records from the City of Dallas.
Sincerely Yours,
Edward H. Sebesta
What is our real situation here in Dallas?
Getting these records and finishing writing the history of the 2010 Bathhouse raid should be an easy thing. Yet they are fighting it. What are they hiding? Why is this even a problem?
The so-called LGBT leadership in Dallas wants to live in a happy fantasy where everything is okay because they are the establishments LGBT lapdogs.
I suggest that until they apologize and reject what was one in the past, it is possible it can happen in the future.
Also, there is no justice until the wrong is written.
I still need to report on our email exchange. Liaison don’t like the expectation of LGBT wanting real answers.
