What in the name of heaven is a “biblical people?” It means absolutely nothing. If one is Christian, the one single standard is sacrificial love. The books of the Christian scriptures are full of all sorts of relationships between people that the ABC would condemn, ones that Jesus and the church blessed.

If they are a “biblical people” do they support slavery, men with many wives, sacrificing children to idols, eating non kosher foods, killing vast numbers of people because God told them to? They are hypocrites through and through. They want the Bible to do one thing: portray God who hates all the people they hate.

They are called Christians, not Logicians, not Aristotelians. The Bible is selectively reviewed to support what people want. Also, there is the desire to consume the true faith, and being agaisnt the world on something is how true faith is seen. Christianity is a product and it is consumed as a product. There is a need to have some comfort that something on something is stable. Being Gays are a small group, they are seemingly a convenient group to sacrifice for this purpose. The New Testament has lots of references to Jesus and love etc, but also a very clear operating plan to exterminate opponents, rivals, and non-believer.
