They have promoted her before.
In neither of these Dallas Moning News articles will you find out anything about her homophobia.
Tara-Leigh Cobble online presence and church.

Though she lives in Dallas you can’t find anywhere which church she goes to.
I did find this article, but I didn’t get any confirmation.
https://www.stanthony-hughson.org/question/where-does-tara-leigh-cobble-go-to-church-499183/
According to the above article, Tara-Leigh Cobble goes to City Church International in Dallas, Texas.
If and when I do a report on them I will put a link to that report here. This church is non-denominational, but it should be noted they have the ECFA logo at the bottom of their webpage.
https://www.ecfa.org/MemberProfile.aspx?ID=59429
ECFA stands for Evangelical Council for Accountability. Their logo should be always seen as a bad sign. I have a link to a report on them at the bottom of this post.
When and if I do a report on them, I will put a link here.
Tara-Leigh and Homosexuality.
Online I could only find a part of one book, “Here’s to hindsight: letters to my former self,” Relevant Books, 2006, where she envies a homosexual man for denying himself as being morally superior to herself.
This is the text on pages 1
During the past few years, I’ve acquired quite a number of gay friends. It’s not something that is widely accepted in the South. I grew up around the the attitude that this, perhaps, is the worst of all sins. Far worse than pride or gluttony or greed. As the Church, we tend not to want to have to love “those people.” And they know it. They know that we don’t love them. And it makes them hate the Church. They are mirroring our hatred.
Some stupid poem by David Wilcox is in the book here. Continuing:
Some of my gay friends grew up in the Church, and they know that the Bible spells out homosexuality as something that is not what God intends for us, but they, like all of us, are still tempted to sin. My friend Damon is a non-practicing homosexual, and I respect him more for that than I respect my Christian friend who is living with his girlfriend. Because Damon has the temptation but doesn’t act on it. That’s a lot more than I can say for myself and my own particular weaknesses. So I told him that recently, “You know what?” I said, “I am the Michael Jordon of jealously, and I practice it often. As far as that is concerned, I’m living in sin more than you are right now.
It goes on like this for some additional paragraphs to push the love the sinner, hate the sin nonsense.
We really need to have a “National Christians Shut the ______ up Day.”
Her other books mention homosexuality, but I am not purchasing them to quote them.
Online at her webpage you won’t find anything. However, at her webpage is a link to one of the groups she runs called D-Group.
She is founder and president.
This is her beliefs page for the D Group
https://www.mydgroup.org/beliefs
They have convictions.

One thing is that they are creationists. They are delulu for Jesus.
We are creationists. We believe God created the earth by the power of His word. (Note: We will not be divided by our varied opinions on when that happened, but will instead find unity in the belief that God is the Creator.)
And:
We hold to and lead from a traditional view of marriage (one man to one woman) and birth-gender assignments. Click here for more info.
If you click on the link, you are taken to the homophobic “Nashville Statement” against Gay marriage.

At the website is this page, “Resources.”
https://www.mydgroup.org/resources
Under topics you will find this in the drop down LGBTQ+ entry. A whole list of anti-Gay resources.
Three of them are involving or from Watermark Church which recently Dallas Gay Liberation did a report on. (Link to report towards the end of this report.)
This is a Watermark Church attack on the song, “Same Love,” subtitled, “Lyrics and Lives.”

This is the Watermark Community Church condemnation of homosexuality.

The Gospel Coalition attack on homosexuality.

The video is by Todd Wagner, indicating he is with Watermark Community Church. I think he is no longer with them. I will put a link to an article by the Christians complaining about him.
She pushes the idea that you can be changed by Christ. She has this link to Amazon where you can purchase “Transforming Homosexuality: What the Bible Says about Sexual Orientation and Change.”

This is the website of Denny Burk.
Then there is this book by a Lesbian who feels she was saved by Christ from homosexuality.

Summary
Tara-Leigh Cobble is a full-blown enemy of LGBT everywhere. You wouldn’t ever learn about it from reading the Dallas Morning News. Even if you went to her website you would have to do some digging. She is campaigning against the LGBT, but she is doing it by stealth.
Also, looking at these resources, the anti-Gay Christians are mostly slimy weasels, anti-Gay, but trying to make it like they love us.
Why aren’t the Dallas Gay Christians calling out these actions of the Dallas Morning News?
This is an article about former Watermark pastor Todd Wagner.
