Really Creepy discussion at the 2024 Texas Republican Party Convention.
YouTube video, “Republicans Discuss Removing Offensive Language from Their Platform, Decide to Keep it.” It is a video of the 2024 Texas Republican Party platform committee debate on one of their anti-Gay planks supplied by Lone Star Left. It reveals really creepy self-loathing world of being a Gay Republican.
As many of you know I tirelessly point out the deficiencies of the Stonewall Dems on LGBT issues, but I also need to report this.
The importance of this is to highlight the self-loathing thinking that undermines the LGBT.
It is also very much a mentality that I think is present in Dallas. I put some links to reports on other self-loathing things in Dallas at the end of this report.
I also have at the end of this report another homophobic plank in the Republican Party.
The Texas Republican Party at this time is our mortal enemy.
We are under no obligation to respect any rules of behavior regarding those who would obliterate us.

This is what was said by the person who wanted to modify the anti-Gay plank, to remove the sentence, “Homosexuality is an abnormal lifestyle choice.” Starting at about 0:31. Corrections are indicated by “[]”.

In response some other Republicans give the expected homophobic reasons for the platform.
