The language is quite interesting. One of the reviews for Mary Comm's book claims one woman's son has been "transformed from SSA". Cute way to phrase conversion therapy, no?

It is interesting. I notice that there is a trend away from explicit hostility to more euphemistic or indirect expression and the employment of sophistries like, "Hate the sin, love the sinner," language, as well as other evasive strategies to avoid revealing intent. Marketplace Ministries required research to surface the real purpose of their operation as opposed to how they represent themselves. Also, with all of them, I submit pages to the Internet Archive so the record doesn't disappear.
