Monkeypox 20220920. Rate has dropped but maybe only by half. Three phases of the pandemic
Don't touch the body of a Gay anti-vaxxer.
There are three phases of the monkeypox pandemic. The initial exponential phase (red on the chart), then the first linear phase (blue on the chart), and then the current linear phase (yellow on the chart). From the linear trendlines, the rate has dropped from 12.2 cases a day to 6.0 cases a day, but that is a drop of roughly only 50%. Additional data may show a greater reduction.
The Dallas County Health chart has a tiny small footnote explaining that for the latest days they don’t have all the data, but they don’t shade that part of the graph to emphasize it and worse, they run the seven-day moving average to the end of the graph. This makes it seem that the cases of monkeypox have declined faster than they have.
As vaccinations finally started to be rolled out and the Gay community became aware of the risks, the initial exponential phase ended and the first linear phase started. As more vaccinations have occurred and the MSM community became alerted in all its segments it has gone to the next phase. However, the linear fits indicate that the drop in the rate of increase is perhaps only 50%. It could be more, we need more data.
DON’T TOUCH THE BODY OF A GAY ANTI-VAXXER. You risk monkeypox, HPV, hepatitis A&B, and meningitis. And Covid and flu for that matter.
We will need about 90% of the Gay community to get vaccinated to bring a halt to this pandemic. Every Gay anti-vaxxer is a menace to the Gay community.
It is 98.5% men consistent with it being an STD being spread among men who have sex with men, (MSM). The ten women are likely women who just learned something about their boyfriend or husband. A speculation on my part.
It it wasn’t an STD the ration of men to women would steadily decrease as it spread non-sexually to the general population. It has been consistently 98.5 to 99% men since it started.
The Respectability Gays are denying it, but the data is fairly solid on this. I am running into “social justice warriors” who think denying this is some type of moral virtue, but denial in this case is a real endangerment to Gay health.
Again, the shut down of the sexual liberation of Gays means that this isn’t a victory. The Respectability Gays probably like this.
This whole monkeypox debacle could have been prevented. Scientists have been warning of this potential for years, but the organizations which purport to have the interests of Gay men are basically embarrassed by Gay sexuality and busy vote harvesting for the Democratic Party or searching for funding for their social service project.
The monkeypox pandemic is a manifestation of how the needs and welfare of the Gay community are ignored by the existing “leadership” of the LGBTQXYZ.
