What is interessting about doing the map, it makes homophobia visible, but also you realize that 90+% pecent of the churches in any specific area are homophobic. I am finding locally that the Gay Christians are either begging for acceptance or full of sentiment, but not really determined to push for Gay rights. When I was in Taiwan I visited and photo documented the Taoist and Buddhist temples there. You could sense that you weren't in a nation where the religon was anti-Gay. There was a feeling of decompression. I would be interested in a critical discussion with a thinking Gay Christian.
Thank you
