The raging Christian homophobes are getting ready to protest the Higher Purpose Emporium on Sat. Oct. 26th, Noon to 2pm. Be there for the counter protest.

Latinos United for Conservative Action (LUCA) headed by Carlos Turcios, or he runs the local chapter, not quite sure, is organizing the protest.

[1] Our report on Sept. 25, 2024 when this situation first started to develop.
[2] I wrote thirteen Churches and one synagogue which are supposed to be2supportive of the LGBT. Only got one reply from Rev. Thomas of the Cathedral of Hope so far as of 10/24/2024.
The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence were no shows. I went to their meeting in October and they were discussing having someone there. The other churches had no response.

I had contacted them anticipating trouble and offered to help pay for some security. I would be there but early plans to be out of town. Would love facing down some religious fascist. I feel for them to have to put up with this overt bigotry.
