Texas Theater on Jefferson rents to homophobic Victory Outreach on Sunday.
Something I discovered when I was getting ready for my field trip to map homophobic churches in the Bishop Arts, Davis street area.
Subscriptions are free.
Texas Theater wouldn’t rent to a racist or anti-Semitic church, but a homophobic church is evidently okay.
On Sunday morning the Texas Theater becomes the Victory Outreach Church of Dallas.
Victory Outreach gave invocations on 6/22/2022 and 8/3/2022 and is in the following report on persons from homophobic organizations giving invocations to open up Dallas City Council meeting. Go to the entry for those two dates.
From the above report.
This is their position paper on their beliefs online for the whole denomination. You can download it.

What does it say about Gays? The word “homosexual” appears 44 times in the document. Here are some examples from the above document. On page 1.
Here are some prime examples of how faithful God is to forgive sin and to what extent He will pardon the wrongdoer: The Corinthians were involved in swindling, thievery, idolatry, drunkenness, sexual immorality (including prostitution and homosexuality), and yet by the grace of God their sins were washed away and they were set apart as saints for God’s kingdom (1 Cor. 6:9-11). [Boldface added.]
Page 28 is devoted to their “position on homosexuality.” It basically states that homosexuality is condemned in the Bible and is contrary to Christianity.
A quote from page 28.
While studies have been conducted to show that homosexuals are born gay, many psychiatrists and psychologists affirm that almost every case of homosexuality involves patients who have had very negative childhood experiences. In actuality, homosexuality is a behavior and preference – not a condition – and this means it is curable. There have been numerous testimonies of those who were once gay, but have been changed forever from their former lifestyle through the power of God in Christ Jesus. Real change is possible for the gay person, but much like drug or alcohol addiction, sexual addiction and homosexual orientation requires a person to be determined to say no to his/her vice, …

Trivialization of the human worth of Gay people.
I am sure that the supporters of the Texas Theater consider themselves plus ultras in regards to social justice, but here they are renting to a homophobic church that is actively against Gays.
But to collect a few extra dollars they were willing to overlook an actively homophobic record.
If they claim they didn’t know, well they are going to know soon.
Maybe we will here the excuse that they didn’t know. However, in Dallas, if you pick a church randomly, it is much more likely than not that it is homophobic. If you gave a damn you would ask.
They didn’t check because they didn’t want to know is what I am guessing.
Next time Texas Theater asks for support, remember they take the money of homophobes.
This article is A SHAMM!!! What do You go around condemning Churches that Preach against the SIN OF HOMOSEXUALITY as does the Bible just to justify the Approval of Your Homosexuality Sin! It’s ok to hate the Sin but love the Sinner as did Jesus when he lates his Life Down for the Sinner in deed. Whom ever wrote this articles is a Mockery to Journalism.
We have never condemned homosexuality. In fact, we love the homosexual. God never hated the homosexual, but he does hate sin because sin is separation from God.
