Protect Texas Kids announces protest of Dallas Pride event June 3rd. Update 1, 2, 3, 4. Facebook event to protest Dallas Pride has been posted.
They have run out of kid friendly drag shows to shut down, now they are going in for the kill.

Protect Texas Kids launching attack on the LGBT in Dallas. First Hamburger Mary’s and now Dallas Pride Event.
This has just come in from their newsletter they mail out a little after Noon, 5/24/2023.
There are no more commericial establishments left having kid friendly drag shows. They have won and they are moving on to their next target. They are planning attacks on the LGBT in the very heart of Dallas.
Udpate 3:
Time is not clear when they will have the protest. The Tweet we show in Update 1, has 3pm by the main gate, but there Facebook post says Noon, but doesn’t give a specific location. The time in this Facebook event is NOON.

They are going after Pride in Carrollton also. Since this event is June 3rd, the same day as the Dallas event, I don’t think they will be showing up. They might though.

Today they also announced their plan to protest Hamburger Mary’s. I just did a post on it. There is a lot of background information on PTK and prior anti-drag protests in Dallas.
For all the Respectablity Gays, this should show that you really never can be respectable enough for homophobes. I have been to Dallas Pride and nothing wild happens as far as I can tell.

Take Back Oak Lawn is planning to counter-protest. I haven’t found out about anything about the Elm Fork Gun Club.

How secure is our community?
Not very, in my opinion. Our leadership is weak. They gave Texas State Sen. Royce West a free pass for his anti-drag vote. The Stonewall Democrats endorse a Dallas City Candidate who is the executive pastor of a church whose senior pastor is a nationally known anti-Gay homophobe. When BuzzBrew was protested, Stonewall Democrats wouldn’t bring their banner and “attended as individuals,” i.e. invisibly. [Some links supplied at the end.]
As I said before, they have already shutdown all the kid friendly drag shows. Now they will move on to attack the very heart of the LGBT community in Dallas. The opposition knows weakness when they see it and they will be going in for the kill.
