Where is the EFJBGC? Deteriorating Situation.
Since the unfortunate incident in Fort Worth back on April 22, 2023, on Sunday, the Elm Fork John Brown Gun Club is missing.
I first reported on this on May 27, 2023 that the Elm Fork Gun Club had gone missing from the Internet.
At Dallas Pride on June 3, 2023 the Elm Fork John Brown Gun Club didn’t have more than possibly two members there.
Stedfast Baptist Church has moved into Dallas County, a church that calls for the government to execute homosexuals, and at the counter protest there is maybe one or two members of the Elm Fork Gun Club. (They wear covers over their face and they don’t say who they are with, so I can’t do a positive identification.)
About Stedfast.
A firebombing of a Plano LGBTQ+ church occured on July 23, 2023, just 6 days ago.
The situation is deteriorating.
The Ugandan North American Association is having their convention in Dallas Sept. 1-4, 2023.
It doesn’t seem there will be anyone to protest Uganda’s murderous policies.
It is sort of pathetic that there is only one group in Dallas that might be expected to protest. However, that is another topic.
The security of the LGBT in Dallas is deteriorating.
Hopefully nothing happens, but if some right-wing militia shows up on Cedar Springs on the Strip, what would we do?
If firebombings started to occur in the Oak Lawn area, what might be done?
The City of Dallas hasn’t taken action to form a hate crimes unit.
Elected officials don’t seem to care about Stedfast. There have been no replies to letters.
Being radical isn’t a parlor game
I don’t claim to be radical since I know that I am not one. However, a lot of people cosplay being radical. They might just have a set of opinions at a social function. Maybe angry Facebook posts. Maybe Che Guevara poster on their wall which they can admire while consuming something that is sustainable fair trade from Trader Joes.
Elm Fork John Brown Gun Club now would be a really good time to be visible and active. You may not want to, but history doesn’t wait, and history is colliding with the Dallas LGBT right now.
