Dallas police need a Hate Crimes Unit. A church calling for the execution of Gays is just 22 min. from the Cedar Springs Strip. Update: A reply.
They are having a speaker in July that praised the massacre of Gays in Orlando.

There has been a reply. I am doing some research before I can properly assess this letter and reply to it and report on it. It is from Cara Mendelsohn, Dallas City Council, Dist. 12.
Now the Pastor of Stedfast Baptist church isn’t calling for this. But an individual might decide to act on rhetoric calling for the government execution of Lesbians and Gays decide to take action on his own. Further they have scheduled a pastor who praised the massacre of Gays at Pulse in Orlando, Florida. What this map shows is that even if the hate speech isn’t in Dallas, a murderous crazed person can be at the Cedar Springs Strip in 30 minutes or less from most everywhere in Dallas County.
So I decided to write Dallas Mayor Johnson AGAIN to have a Police Hate Crimes Unit and a Human Rights Commission for Dallas. I sent a copy of the letter to all the Dallas City Council members. This is just the first of a series of letters I am going to be writing and publishing in our newsletter. I plan of writing the Dallas County officials.
Dallas Sheriff Marion Brown as to what she can do to make the LGBT in Dallas more secure.
Dallas County Commissioners asking for a Human Rights Commission.
Dallas District Attorney John Creuzot as to whether any laws are being broken and what his office will do to make the LGBT in Dallas more secure.
U.S. House Rep. Jasmine Crockett ask that federal law enforcement take action to secure the LGBT community and for the Department of Justice investigate this threat.
Texas State Rep. Venton Jones asking him to take action to keep the LGBT in Dallas secure.
Texas State Sen. Royce West asking him to take action to keep the LGBT in Dallas secure.
Reddit Post for this Substack post results were amazing.

Stedfast Baptist Church is in District 3 represented by John Wiley Price. His constituents in that district need to write him.
I am going to be thinking of who else I can write to. As I get the letters written I will have them posted.
We can’t just sit around and hope for the best. I think protesting is good, but it needs to be supported by other measures.
The Letter
In the following letter, the URLs for the earlier posts show up as just URLs. Substack, the platform of this newsletter will automatically give a preview. So the letter doesn’t exactly look like this. To fit this letter within size limits for this newsletter platform, I am not putting all the previews in so this can be emailed to subscribers. However, after being emailed, I am going to add in the preview links.

Dear Hon. Johnson:
Though hostility towards Lesbians and Gays is a distinguishing feature of Dallas Christianity, though in most cases Dallas Christians haven’t issued a call for the execution of Gays though some have come close to it.
W.A. Criswell, of First Baptist Dallas, said that AIDS was God’s punishment, Gays were getting divinely executed by God through AIDS, but he didn’t actually encourage someone going down to the strip on Cedar Springs and do some shooting. The death of Gays was God’s work through AIDS.

Former Dallas City Council member Vonciel Jones Hill protested an effort to bring HIV education to African American MLM (men loving men), how many died as a consequence I can’t say, but this education about HIV was vital to keep people from getting HIV and dying. To kill Gays, you don’t necessarily need to use a gun.

This didn’t keep three Dallas City Council members from nominating Vonciel Hill to serve on the Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) board. (Carolyn King Arnold, Tennell Atkins, Casey Thomas II).
A good representative sample of Dallas Christian hostility towards Gays would be those Christians asked to give invocations for Dallas City Council meetings in 2022. They are after all those who the mayor’s office thought would be best to give invocations.

What also is typical is Concord Pastor Bryan L. Carter national campaigning against same-sex marriage. City Council member Zarin D. Gracey is executive pastor of this church.

However, Dallas Christians generally don’t call for the execution of Lesbians and Gays and instead prefer to veil their hostility with formulas like, “Love the sinner and hate the sin,” and such type nonsense.
However, there has been a significant development in Dallas County with the move of Stedfast Baptist Church to Cedar Hill.
They call for government to execute Gays. This is a link to a report on them.

They have invited Pastor Steven Anderson of the Faithful Word Baptist Church in Tempe, Arizona to speak on July 12, 2023.

He is infamous for saying that the massacre of Gays at the Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, Florida was a good thing.
Though Evangelical Christians might be quick to assert that they are distinctly different and adopt different moral postures to contrast themselves to Stedfast Baptist Church and Pastor Anderson. I think a better understanding of the situation is that Stedfast Baptist Church is merely the pot of Christian homophobia boiling over.
You and the Dallas City Council might say that Stedfast Baptist Church is in Cedar Hill, Texas and not in the City of Dallas. I enclose a map with the Google commute time from Stedfast Baptist to the heart of the Gay neighborhood in Dallas. It is, depending on traffic, merely 22 to 24 minutes. Of course, the individual pushed over the edge and deciding that murdering Gays is doing God’s work, might be traveling from any part of Dallas County.
It is 12 minutes from Criswell College to the Strip on Cedar Springs for a student who might think that waiting for AIDS to kill Gays is too slow. It is 17 minutes from the Denison Forum for someone who thinks getting mpox isn’t a severe enough punishment for Gays. It is 18 minutes from Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship for someone fearing apocalyptic consequences of homosexuality for the nation based on the teachings of Tony Evans.
Wherever it might be, it is at most about 30 minutes from leaving their house to massacring Gays. A vicious Gay hating church in Dallas County or even in the DFW area is a menace to the lives of Lesbians and Gays in the City of Dallas when it legitimized the execution of Lesbians and Gays and encourages a murderous sentiment towards Lesbians and Gays.
I have written you earlier about Dallas Police having a Hate Crimes unit and a Human Rights Commission and I did not get a reply.
https://dallasgayliberation.substack.com/p/letter-to-dallas-mayor-johnson-we
I ask you again to have Dallas Police set up a Hate Crimes unit. It could track groups with potentially murderous intentions towards Lesbians and Gays.
Also, a Human Rights Commission for Dallas could work to tone down the climate of hate towards LGBT in Dallas. It would benefit other minorities, racial and religious as well as LGBT. Attacks like those in the shooting of a beauty parlor owner in Koreatown might be prevented.
It would be much better to thwart an attack on a Gay event, such as the upcoming Sept. Pride event on the Strip on Cedar Springs, than lots of flowers and sad speeches by you and Dallas City Council members after a massacre occurred.
Sincerely Yours,
